Here are the new LUTs I’ve been using to edit my travel videos shot on a Sony Alpha camera. They’re perfect for Sony SLOG-2 or SLOG-3, giving your footage a cinematic film look with just a click. I’ve tested them on the Sony A7S III, A7 III, and a6400/a6500.
Avoid underexposing your footage—keep it at mid-level or overexpose by +1.0. You'll need minor color corrections afterward, mostly adjusting exposure, contrast, and saturation to your taste. No preset or LUT works perfectly with just one click. If you’re not familiar with basic color grading, I wouldn’t recommend buying this LUT.
How I use it in Adobe Premiere:
- Create an adjustment layer and apply Lumetri Color to it.
- Apply Lumetri Color to the original video to adjust basic settings like exposure, temperature, contrast, shadows, and highlights.
- In the adjustment layer's LUT tab, apply my LUT.
You can also use it in Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, and Final Cut Pro.
